Overview
- Both navies deployed full carrier strike groups led by INS Vikrant and HMS Prince of Wales in the first joint carrier-on-carrier exercise between the two countries.
- The eight-day exercise runs from October 5 to 12 off India’s west coast in distinct harbour and sea phases.
- The sea phase focuses on anti-air, anti-surface and anti-submarine warfare along with flying operations, cross-deck activities and other seamanship evolutions.
