Overview

• The Eastern Fleet led by Rear Admiral Susheel Menon docked in Manila on August 1 with INS Delhi, INS Shakti and INS Kiltan.
• The first bilateral maritime exercises, called “maritime cooperative activity,” will practice joint manoeuvres and communication protocols.
• Surveillance ship INS Sandhayak is slated to join the Manila deployment to enhance maritime domain awareness.
