India and Australia Conclude Seventh Disarmament Dialogue in New Delhi

Officials said the talks strengthened strategic alignment on arms-control measures in emerging domains despite no new binding accords.

Overview

  • Officials highlighted that no new treaties or binding export-control decisions emerged from this round of talks, reflecting the confidence-building nature of the dialogue.
  • Lt Gen Stuart will visit the 50 (Independent) Parachute Brigade in Agra and address cadets at the National Defence Academy in Pune during the remaining days of his visit.
