India Allocates 200th Coal Block as 12th Auction Round Receives 41 Bids

Overview

  • The 12th commercial coal mining auction, opened on June 16, drew 41 bids for 11 of the 22 blocks on offer.
  • A total of 27 companies, including Jindal Steel and Power, NLC India Ltd and more than 10 new entrants, took part in the latest round.
