- MRCC Chabahar alerted MRCC Mumbai on October 28 to a medical emergency after a fuel-transfer explosion on the Iranian dhow Al-Owais, which also suffered engine failure.
- MRCC Mumbai activated the International Safety Net and diverted the Marshall Islands-flagged tanker MT STI Grace and Indian Coast Guard ship ICGS Sachet to assist.
