Overview

• Unidentified miscreants set fire to houses in Gampal and Haiyang villages of Kamjong district on April 23, 2025, with casualties yet to be confirmed.
• The Kamjong district magistrate imposed indefinite prohibitions on movement under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita to prevent further unrest.
