INDEC’s July CPI Fixes 2.11% Increase for September Pensions

The 2.11% adjustment will raise September payments as ANSES applies a prorated $70,000 bonus under a published payment calendar.

Overview

  • On Thursday, August 13, INDEC published July inflation at about 2.11%, a figure the statutory mobility formula uses to set September increases for pensions, AUH and other ANSES transfers.
  • ANSES has posted the September payment calendar by DNI and will apply the 2.11% rise to gross haberes, with standard deductions such as PAMI contributions taken from net payouts.
  • The $70,000 extraordinary bonus remains the legislated monthly ceiling; full payment goes to minimum pensioners while recipients with higher haberes receive a prorated top-up that began phasing in for non-minimum accounts from August 25.
  • Estimated September amounts based on the published CPI include a minimum pension near $428,633 (about $498,633 if the $70,000 bonus is paid in full) and an AUH total around $154,030 with 80% paid monthly and 20% retained pending Libreta documentation.
  • ANSES reminded beneficiaries that the Libreta AUH must be presented by December 31, 2026 to claim retained complements, and the government is preparing a formal decree to codify the monthly bonus operational rules.
