Overview
- Indecopi issued a consumer advisory Tuesday and opened an inquiry into the presale and sale of BTS tickets, urging people to read transfer conditions and use only official channels.
- Ticketmaster Perú said transfers will be handled through the Quentro app in staggered windows that open at 8:00 p.m. on Sept. 7, 9 and 10, each timed about 30 days before the corresponding concert.
- Each ticket can be transferred only once through Quentro, a design meant to prevent chain resales by linking dynamic QR codes to the recipient's app account.
- Ticketmaster and Quentro warned users not to share passwords or verification codes and said screenshots or PDFs of QR codes are invalid for entry.
- The Policía Nacional maintains virtual patrols to detect concert-related scams and authorities will keep monitoring compliance, a step that could reduce illegal secondary sales and protect buyers for the Oct. 7, 9 and 10 shows at Estadio San Marcos.
