Indecopi Sets Sept. 30 Auction of 29 Seized Properties in San Borja

The sale aims to recoup unpaid fines from consumer-protection and intellectual-property cases.

Overview

  • The in-person remate begins Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 8:50 a.m. at Indecopi’s headquarters on Av. Del Aire 384 in San Borja, divided into two blocks: 08:50–11:10 a.m. (21 lots) and 11:20–11:55 a.m. (8 lots).
  • Twenty-nine lots across Lima and several regions include houses, apartments, parking spaces, commercial locales and rural land, with base prices from S/7,173.64 to above S/3.5 million.
  • Examples span a lowest-price house in Huancavelica at S/7,173.64 and a high-value rural tract in Moquegua with a starting price exceeding S/3.5 million.
  • Participants must present valid ID, arrive early to register, and provide a guarantee equal to 10% of the appraised value in cash or a manager’s check payable to Indecopi.
  • Acting on behalf of another party requires a current notarized power registered with the relevant office, and property viewings are limited to exteriors unless owners authorize entry.
