INDEC Says October Wholesale Prices Rose 1.1% as Construction Costs Increased 1.6%

Domestic price pressures led the month’s moves, with regulated updates feeding through to building budgets.

  • The Construction Cost Index for Greater Buenos Aires rose 1.6%, with materials up 2.1%, labor up 1.3% reflecting a UOCRA wage pact, and general expenses up 1.6% after utility tariff and connection-cost updates approved by ENRE, ENARGAS and the public works secretariat.
