Income Tax Department Raids Properties of 'Pushpa 2' Director Sukumar and Producers

The Income Tax Department conducted raids at the homes and offices of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' director Sukumar and producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers.
Sukumar was escorted from the Hyderabad airport to his residence, where the raid began early Wednesday morning and lasted several hours.
Authorities have not disclosed the reasons or findings from the raids, though sources suggest they may be investigating financial transactions related to the ₹1,800 crore-grossing film.
Producers of other high-budget Telugu films, including Dil Raju of 'Game Changer,' also faced simultaneous raids across eight locations in Hyderabad.
The IT Department reportedly examined financial documents and bank lockers, but no official statement has been released so far regarding the operation.
