Income Tax Department Penalizes ACC Rs 23.07 Crore Over Past Assessments

The Adani Cement unit says it will contest the pre-acquisition orders.

  • For AY 2018-19, a Rs 8.85 crore penalty was levied for alleged under-reporting following a disallowed expenditure claim of Rs 12.79 crore, described as 200% of the tax effect.
