- Replacements are free and must be done in person at INAPAM modules when the card is lost, stolen, physically damaged, or when personal data must be updated.
- To get a new card beneficiaries must bring original documents such as a legible birth certificate, a current official ID, CURP and a recent proof of address and often receive the replacement the same visit.
- Long‑distance bus lines including ADO, ETN, Turistar and Primera Plus offer 25–50% discounts for INAPAM holders but each bus limits discounted seats to about two to six so buying tickets early and presenting the original legible card is recommended.
