In Shakeup, Toronto Raptors Fire Championship Head Coach Nick Nurse

Nick Nurse is out as head coach of the Raptors after five seasons and leading them to their first NBA title in 2019.
The Raptors missed the playoffs this season and were eliminated in the first round of the previous two seasons.
Raptors president Masai Ujiri said firing Nurse provides an opportunity to reset the team.
Former Celtics coach Ime Udoka is considered a top candidate to replace Nurse.
Nurse is expected to be pursued as a candidate for the head coaching job with the Houston Rockets.
