• Harold Love Jr. was taken into custody Thursday with assistance from IMPD specialty units and faces preliminary counts including three attempted murder charges, aggravated battery, battery with a deadly weapon, and possession of a machine gun.
• A search of Love’s residence led to additional preliminary charges in a separate case for dealing methamphetamine, dealing marijuana, and possession of a machine gun.
• Police previously arrested 21-year-old Carlos Contreras, who allegedly fled in a Dodge Challenger that became stuck on nearby railroad tracks, where officers recovered firearms and narcotics.
• Surveillance video showed two shooters opening fire on three men within about seven seconds of the victims entering the camera frame, with no apparent prior dispute.
• Investigators documented 47 shell casings at the scene, recovered a mini-Draco and a Glock 19 with an illegal switch, and reported one victim required immediate surgery after sustaining 11 wounds.
