Overview
- The Shimla Meteorological Centre issued an orange alert for Kullu, Chamba, and Lahaul-Spiti on Jan. 23, with yellow alerts for most other Himachal districts.
- IMD expects the wet spell to peak on Jan. 23 with thunderstorms and gusty winds up to 30–50 kmph across parts of the western Himalayas and adjoining plains.
