IMD Issues Weather Warnings Across India

Unseasonal rainfall expected due to low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, with severe impacts in Mumbai, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rainfall in Mumbai between 25 and 27 November, issuing a yellow alert in coastal areas of Gujarat and Maharashtra.
IMD has also predicted rainfall in south Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh till next week, and issued a yellow alert in Thane, Palghar, and Raigad.
Unseasonal rainfall is expected due to the formation of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, with a yellow alert issued for November 26-28 across Maharashtra.
In Tamil Nadu, heavy rainfall has led to the closure of all schools in Chennai, and a thunderstorm warning has been issued for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Himachal Pradesh may witness rain and snowfall at isolated places from November 26, with a yellow warning of thunderstorms and lightning at isolated places on November 27.
