  • Telangana is expected to see heavy to very heavy rain from August 27 to 29, including an extremely heavy spell flagged for August 27.
  • A low-pressure area over the northwest Bay of Bengal, expected to strengthen and move west-northwest, is the primary trigger for the intensification.
