Overview

• The India Meteorological Department forecast heavy to extremely heavy rain in Gujarat through September 7 under a red alert.
• Extremely heavy rain is very likely over the Gujarat region from September 4–6, with Saurashtra and Kutch set for heavy to very heavy rain on September 6–7.
