Overview
- Mumbai recorded light to moderate rain on Friday with temperatures around 32°C and air quality improving into the good to moderate range.
- Yellow nowcasts covered Mumbai and several Maharashtra districts, with Thane and Palghar under alerts for thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds near 30–40 km/h.
- Coastal advisories highlighted high waves up to about 3.1 metres and squally winds along parts of the Konkan–Goa shoreline.
