The company's Q3 revenue rose to $103.9 million, up 51% year-over-year, beating Wall Street's estimates and surpassing the company's expectation.
Other key contributors to this impressive financial performance included Hollywood titles like 'Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1' and 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny', as well as local language films like 'Creation of the Gods: Kingdom of Storms' and 'Jawan'.
IMAX expects some disruptions in 2024 due to the ongoing Hollywood actors' strike, but remains optimistic about the potential impact of upcoming titles like 'Dune: Part 2'.
The company also sees the emergence of concert films as a promising area for success, with concert films like 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' and 'Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce' achieving significant grosses.
