Overview

• He was convicted in March 2025 at Canterbury Crown Court on 16 counts of child sexual assault against four victims.
• The offending occurred in two periods, from March 2014 to October 2016 and from May 2022 to December 2023, at a Chatham community mosque.
• Prosecutors said he kissed girls on the lips, touched their chests under clothing, and used a kitchen with no cameras, telling some the kisses were a sign of “respect.”
