Blumhouse Productions and Lionsgate have released the trailer for their upcoming horror film, 'Imaginary', set to hit theaters on March 8, 2024.
The film stars DeWanda Wise as Jessica, who moves back into her childhood home with her family, where her stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) befriends a seemingly innocent teddy bear named Chauncey found in the basement.
As Alice's behavior becomes increasingly concerning due to her connection with Chauncey, Jessica intervenes and discovers that Chauncey is not just a toy, but possibly a supernatural entity.
The film explores the concept of imaginary friends, questioning whether they are mere figments of childhood imagination or if they could be something more sinister from the spirit world.
The cast also includes Tom Payne, Taegen Burns, Veronica Falcon, and Betty Buckley, with Jeff Wadlow directing.
