The second season of the UAE-based ILT20 cricket league has begun, with the Gulf Giants (GG) defending their title against the Sharjah Warriors (SW) and winning by 31 runs.
Despite clashing with several other T20 leagues around the globe, the ILT20 2024 has attracted marquee players like David Warner, Trent Boult, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, and Shaheen Afridi.
The tournament will conclude with the summit clash on February 17 in Dubai.
Top bowlers to watch out in the league include DJ Bravo (MI Emirates), Wanindu Hasaranga (Desert Vipers), Sunil Narine (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders), Trent Boult (MI Emirates), and Shaheen Afridi (Desert Vipers).
Desert Vipers, last year's runners-up, are considered the most settled and strong-looking units among all six ILT20 franchises.
