  • DHS says ICE agents tried to arrest Silverio Villegas-Gonzalez during a Franklin Park vehicle stop when he drove at officers and dragged one a significant distance before an agent fatally shot him.

  • Separately, Venezuelan day laborer Willian Giménez González filed a federal petition on Sunday to block deportation and seek bond after his ICE arrest in Little Village, which ICE says followed an in‑absentia removal order as supporters allege targeted retaliation.
