- Retired ICE Denver Field Office Director John Fabbricatore criticized Colorado's sanctuary policies, claiming they allowed Menjivar-Alas to remain in the community despite his criminal record.
- ICE has lodged a detainer with Broomfield County to seek Menjivar-Alas' arrest.
