Ilja Dragunov to Defend NXT Title Against Trick Williams at Vengeance Day

Ilja Dragunov, the current NXT Champion, has announced his return to the ring after recovering from an injury and will defend his title against Trick Williams at Vengeance Day 2024.
Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes have advanced in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament, defeating Edris Enofé and Malik Blade in the opening round.
The LWO, despite being SmackDown stars, have also advanced in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament, defeating the popular NXT tag team, Chase U.
Trick Williams may have to compete twice at Vengeance Day, as he is also set to participate in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic final at the same event.
Carmelo Hayes, a former NXT Champion, is speculated to be wrapping up his current NXT run, with hints of a potential move to SmackDown.
