Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier of Canada won their fifth consecutive ice dance title at Skate Canada, scoring a total of 214.84 points.
Japan's Kaori Sakamoto captured the women's gold, leading a Japanese sweep of the podium, with Madeline Schizas of Canada finishing in fifth place.
