IKEA to Pay Roblox Players for Virtual Store Jobs

Swedish retailer offers £13.15 per hour for remote roles in its new game, The Co-Worker, launching June 24.

IKEA's The Co-Worker game on Roblox will employ ten UK and Ireland residents over 18.
Employees will assist customers, serve virtual meatballs, and organize showrooms.
Applications are open until June 16, with virtual interviews from June 14-18.
The initiative is part of IKEA's 'Careers Done Different' campaign to attract new talent.
Successful applicants will earn the London Living Wage for their virtual work.
