Overview

• The Advanced Certificate in Quantum Computing: Algorithms and AI/ML is offered by IIT Roorkee’s Continuing Education Centre in collaboration with TimesPro as a direct-to-device programme.
• Delivery includes 300 learning hours across live and self-paced modes, a 30-hour capstone project, case studies and assignments, plus an optional campus immersion.
• The five-module curriculum spans quantum algorithms, communications and networks, and quantum machine learning, with applied projects in finance, healthcare, optimisation, image tasks and drug discovery.
• Learners get hands-on practice with Qiskit and PennyLane as well as access to IBM Quantum and D-Wave systems, implementing Shor’s, Grover’s and Simon’s algorithms alongside QKD, teleportation and advanced QML models such as QSVMs, QNNs and Quantum GANs.
• Graduates are targeted for roles including Quantum Software Developer, Quantum Machine Learning Engineer, Quantum Algorithm Researcher, Quantum Data Scientist, AI Product Developer and Security Analyst/Cryptographer, with the launch positioned against a market projected to reach USD 4.24 billion by 2030.
