- The helpdesk, run by the student Academics and Career Council, became operational on Tuesday, June 2 and connects JEE Advanced qualifiers with verified IIT Kanpur student mentors.
- IIT Kanpur will hold an online JoSAA Open House on Tuesday, June 9 at 10:00 AM where the director, deans and senior faculty will take live questions from candidates and parents.
- Candidates can register for the helpdesk by scanning the QR code on the institute poster or by filling the official registration form provided by IIT Kanpur.
- The WhatsApp community includes department-specific doubt groups, general discussion forums and announcement channels to provide tailored guidance on branch choice, preference ordering, academics, placements and campus life.
- JoSAA choice-filling remains open until June 11 and the helpdesk will stay active through mock and final seat-allocation rounds, continuing support until seat allocation finishes around mid‑July.
