Overview

  • The institute has opened 25 seats for the new programme, with selection based exclusively on JEE Advanced 2025 ranks through JoSAA counselling.
  • JEE Advanced results will be announced on June 2, followed by five rounds of JoSAA seat allocation including mock allotments on June 9 and 11 and final choice locking by June 12.
  • The curriculum spans semiconductor devices, quantum sensors, photonic design, nano and microfabrication, computational materials science, batteries, and solar cells.
  • Students will acquire hands-on skills in semiconductor fabrication, VLSI chip design, quantum algorithm development, and photonic device engineering.
  • The initiative aligns with India’s strategy to strengthen domestic capabilities in semiconductor and quantum technologies as part of its self-reliance push.
