• Her appointment resulted from a three-stage process evaluating candidates on commitment to peacebuilding, knowledge of Commonwealth values and leadership experience.
• Beyond campus, Sonowal co-founded STEMvibe to reach over 3,000 students nationwide and launched The Integral Cup mathematics contest attracting 2,500 undergraduates.
