Overview
- The exam will run on February 7, 8, 14 and 15 in two daily sessions from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
- IIT Guwahati has posted the paper-by-shift schedule on gate2026.iitg.ac.in covering all listed codes across the four days.
- The admit-card release has been delayed with a revised date to be announced, and candidates will download hall tickets from the official portal using their enrolment ID and password.
- GATE 2026 will be a computer-based test with MCQ, MSQ and NAT formats, and the mock tests provided are indicative only and not evaluated.
- Results are tentatively scheduled for March 19, and scores will be valid for three years for postgraduate admissions at IITs, NITs and other participating institutions.
