Overview
- Applications are open through July 31 and will be assessed via a written test or interview
- The two-year programme begins on August 18 with live online classes, laboratory sessions at the IIT Guwahati campus and on-campus final exams
- Multi-entry and multi-exit pathways allow participants to leave with a postgraduate certificate after four courses, a diploma after seven courses, an MSc (Engineering) after two semesters or the full MTech after completing a capstone project
- Candidates must hold a four-year bachelor’s degree in civil, agricultural engineering or a related field with at least 60% marks and one year of professional experience in the water resources sector
- Under a FREMAA–World Bank supported initiative, Assam will nominate 20 engineers each year to strengthen regional flood management capacity
