Overview
- Candidates can log in at gate2026.iitg.ac.in using their enrolment ID and password to access and update their applications.
- Permitted edits include name, date of birth, exam city, paper choice, gender, category, and PwD or dyslexic status.
- Changes are not allowed for parents’ or guardian’s names, correspondence address, college name and location, roll number, or qualifying degree details.
- Most corrections cost ₹500, while switching from female to another gender or from SC/ST to another category can require ₹1,500 for some candidates, with fees non-refundable.
- GATE 2026 is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026, with results on March 19, 2026, after registrations closed on October 13.
