- IIT Guwahati’s official notice says the admit card release is postponed with no reason given and that a new date will be announced.
- Earlier reports pointing to a January 2 release were based on a tentative schedule and are now superseded by the official update.
- The GATE 2026 examinations remain slated for February 7, 8, 14 and 15 with two three-hour shifts each day, generally 9:30 am–12:30 pm and 2:30 pm–5:30 pm IST.
- The result date stands at March 19, 2026, according to the published schedule.
- Once available, hall tickets will be downloadable from gate2026.iitg.ac.in via the GOAPS portal and will include candidate details, paper code, centre, timings and instructions, with a printed copy and valid photo ID required for entry.
