- Registration opened on Thursday, October 1, 2026, with regular applications due October 31 and a late-fee window that closes on November 6 at 5 pm.
- Both exams are fixed for January 17, 2027, with admit cards available for download from January 1, 2027, and each test running in a single shift from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
- UCEED eligibility covers candidates who passed Class 12 in 2026 or are appearing in 2027 across all streams, while CEED requires a three-year post‑12 degree or diploma completed or being completed by July 2027.
- Application fees are tiered by category and nationality with reduced rates for female, SC, ST and PwD candidates, and candidates may attempt each exam at most twice in consecutive years with scores valid for one academic year.
- IIT Bombay published the full post-exam calendar—draft Part A answer key on January 19, final key on January 26, Part A shortlisting on February 4, CEED results on March 3 and UCEED results on March 6—and candidates must apply via the official portals uceed.iitb.ac.in and ceed.iitb.ac.in and follow institute-specific admission schedules after scorecards are released.
