Overview
- Applications are being accepted through the JOAPS portal at jam2026.iitb.ac.in from September 5 to October 12, with only one form permitted per candidate.
- The test will be held on February 15, 2026 in two sessions, admit cards will be available on January 5, and results are scheduled for March 20.
- Candidates may change their exam city, test paper, category or gender until November 10 by paying a Rs 300 modification fee plus any difference in application fee.
- Eligibility includes bachelor’s degree holders and final‑year students with no upper age limit, and JAM scores open roughly 3,000 seats across 22 IITs with acceptance by IISc and other participating institutes.
- Fees are Rs 1,000/2,000 for one paper and Rs 1,350/2,700 for two papers (female/SC/ST/PwD vs others), and required uploads include a Class 10 certificate, recent photo, signature and valid category or PwD documents in the prescribed formats.
