IIT Bombay Launches JAM 2026 Admission Portal

Candidates can now plan their applications with a timetable that covers registration, examination, result declaration milestones.

Overview

  • JAM 2026 portal is live at jam2026.iitb.ac.in with detailed information on eligibility and available programmes.
  • Registration via the JAM Online Application Processing System opens on September 5 and closes on October 12, 2025.
  • Admit cards become available on January 5, 2026, the exam takes place on February 15, 2026, and results are expected on March 20, 2026.
  • The test will qualify candidates for roughly 3,000 seats across 89 postgraduate science programmes at 22 IITs and other participating institutes.
  • Admitted candidates must meet each institute’s minimum educational qualifications, as qualifying through JAM does not guarantee a seat.
