• A June structural assessment found classroom ceilings unable to support required loads, leading Frankfurt’s education department to ban entry to the IGS Süd main building on August 4.
• Under-grade students (grades 5–7) will start the school year at the former Hessenkolleg in Bockenheim with a dedicated shuttle, while grades 8–10 remain at the statically sound Villa Süd in Sachsenhausen.
• Modular classroom units are scheduled for installation at the Bockenheim site, allowing the full student body to consolidate there through 2028 before relocating to the Länderweg facility.
