Overview

• The victim was formally identified as 62-year-old Roy Mcintosh from Uxbridge.
• Polikarski, 33, was charged on 28 September and remains in custody ahead of a Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court appearance this afternoon, 29 September.
• Officers were called at 12:27 on 26 September to reports of a fight between two men on High Street, Cowley, where Mcintosh was treated by paramedics and pronounced dead.
• Detective Inspector Richard Kempshall said the victim’s family is receiving support from specialist officers.
• A police presence will remain at the scene, and anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101 or online quoting CAD 3169/26SEPT.
