• Igloo has expanded its February 2025 recall of 90-quart Flip & Tow Rolling Coolers by an additional 130,000 units, bringing the total to nearly 1.2 million.
• The recall follows 78 reports of fingertip injuries caused by the tow handle design, including 26 cases of amputations, fractures, and lacerations.
• Affected coolers were sold in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico through major retailers like Costco, Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and online platforms from January 2019 to January 2025.
• Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the coolers and contact Igloo for a free replacement handle to address the safety issue.
• Recalled units can be identified by a circular date code stamped on the bottom, indicating manufacture before January 2024.
