- Effective January 1, 2026, Indraprastha Gas Limited reduced domestic PNG prices by ₹0.70 per SCM across Delhi-NCR.
- Post-cut rates are ₹47.89/SCM in Delhi, ₹46.70/SCM in Gurugram, and ₹47.76/SCM in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
- The reduction follows PNGRB’s tariff overhaul that trims distance-based zones from three to two and sets a nationwide Zone‑1 rate of about ₹54 per MMBtu for CNG and domestic PNG.
- PNGRB member A K Tiwari estimates consumer savings of roughly ₹2–3 per unit, with the regulator requiring pass-through and pledging active monitoring.
- Other distributors, including Think Gas, have already announced cuts to CNG and PNG prices in several states under the new tariff framework.
