Overview
- The CII Indian Green Building Council held the 2nd IGBC Green Telangana Summit in Hyderabad under the theme “Smart, Green & Net Zero: Transforming Telangana’s Built Environment Together.”
- International and national leaders, including Delaware Governor Matt Meyer and ASHRAE president Bill McQuade, joined IGBC officials and industry bodies for plenaries, panels and technical sessions.
- Telangana now counts more than 1,245 IGBC-registered projects spanning about 1.67 billion square feet across commercial, residential, transit, logistics and net-zero categories.
- Organizers unveiled a Telangana Coffee Table Book highlighting over 40 IGBC-certified green and net-zero projects in the state.
- The summit closed with recognition for 47 projects covering 46.3 million square feet for adopting green building practices.
