IFFI 2024 to Celebrate Young Filmmakers and Honor Phillip Noyce

The 55th International Film Festival of India will spotlight emerging talent and recognize Australian filmmaker Phillip Noyce with a lifetime achievement award.

• IFFI 2024, running from November 20-28 in Goa, will feature over 180 films from 81 countries, highlighting young filmmakers under the theme 'The Future is Now'.
• The festival introduces a new 'Best Indian Debut Director' award to encourage fresh talent in Indian cinema.
• Australian director Phillip Noyce will receive the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the film industry.
• The festival will open with the Asian premiere of 'Better Man,' a film about British pop star Robbie Williams.
• Tributes will be paid to Indian cinema icons Raj Kapoor, Mohammed Rafi, Tapan Sinha, and Akkineni Nageswara Rao through special screenings and exhibitions.
