The story unfolds in real-time over 7 hours as Nelson hatches a plan to overcome the hijackers.
A counterterrorism team on the ground in London, led by Archie Panjabi, works to resolve the crisis and free the hostages.
The series is told in a style similar to the show "24" with episodes released weekly on Apple TV+ starting June 28.
The series is the first for Elba's production company Green Door Pictures under their deal with Apple TV+.
