Overview

  • All outbound lanes from Pulaski Road to the Edens junction reopened by 5 a.m. Friday after an overnight reduction, removing the split near Kostner Avenue.
  • Next week, crews will remove the zone between Addison Street and Pulaski Road, prompting temporary closures of the outbound ramp to Diversey Avenue and the Fullerton Avenue slip ramp to Western Avenue for about two weeks.
  • An additional overnight operation Aug. 28–29 is scheduled to restore full lane access between Addison and Pulaski by 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, with the outbound ramps to Kimball and Pulaski/Irving Park and the Addison entrance reopening.
  • Reversible express lanes remain in the outbound direction, while the reversible mid-gate entrance and exits stay closed.
  • Several ramps remain closed with target reopenings that include North Avenue and Armitage in early September, Fullerton to outbound in mid-September, and Augusta/Milwaukee in mid-October, and drivers should expect delays with schedules subject to weather.
