Overview

• By 5 a.m. Wednesday, all four outbound lanes reopened between Addison Street and Pulaski Road, with construction barricades removed in that segment.
• Outbound exit ramps to Kimball Avenue, Addison Street and Pulaski Road/Irving Park Road resumed service.
• Reversible express lanes remain set outbound, and the reversible mid-gate entrances and exits stay closed.
• Remaining closures are slated to lift on a rolling basis: North Avenue and Armitage in early September, Fullerton and Diversey in mid-September, Augusta/Milwaukee in mid-October.
• IDOT reports the outbound rehabilitation is on pace for completion by Thanksgiving, when normal express-lane operations are expected to return.
