IDF Officer Captain Ariel Topaz Dies After Terror Ramming Attack

Topaz, 24, was critically injured in the July 14 attack near Tzrifin Military Base; he was posthumously promoted to captain.

Topaz was one of four IDF soldiers injured in the ramming attack at Nir Zvi Junction.
The attacker, a resident of East Jerusalem, was shot dead by a border police officer.
Topaz's funeral will be held at the military cemetery in Pardes Hana.
Topaz's family and the IDF have publicly mourned his loss.
